This virtual gallery is a sample of our combined work created while living in the back woods of Nova Scotia. Dennis is a professionally trained, versatile artist, antique dealer & collector. My love of gardening, flowers, nature & healing has brought me on a circuitous route to hooking mats with a wild & wonderful mix of recycled fabrics & colour.

In 2003 we found this wonderful old 1810 house in Middlefield that spoke to us. Its history intrigued us as it was originally a stage coach stop built with a grant from George 111.  Situated 12 miles inland from Liverpool it would be the first stop for the stagecoach crossing to Annapolis Royal. Both being history buffs it intrigued us and although it needed lots of TLC, it has proven to be a wonderful home as well as a work in progress. It has placed us in the middle of forests, lakes & streams & only 15 miles from some of the most beautiful beaches.
We truly have the best of all worlds. We are 1/2 an hour from Kejimkujik National Park; the best in nature, canoeing & hiking. Kejimkujik Seaside Adjunct is 1/2 an hour in the other direction which boasts beautiful beaches, scenery & wildlife. The southshore of Nova Scotia offers many diverse things to do from visiting the Sunday Market in Mahone Bay to viewing the Bluenose in Lunenburg, or taking a lovely drive from Chester to Bridgewater along the shore. There are many beautiful things to choose from.

We share our home with Sting, our adopted greyhound. We are blessed with many wonderful herb & flower gardens, organic veggie gardens, a grapery & a growing orchard of fruit trees. With all of these wonders we don't have to search far for inspiration.

We have a gallery and antique shop at our home and invite you to view our work & antiques in person. Please call or email for directions.
